PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant)
Lisa Altarescu received her degree from the University of Vermont and most recently received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, specializing in naturopathic medicine, mental, and physical health. Lisa has been working in the orthopedic outpatient setting for the past six years. Lisa’s clinical interests vary from post operative care to pain management and naturopathic techniques to improve patients’ overall wellbeing. Lisa is a Mckenzie Method-certified clinician for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines. She also has been trained in the Schroth method of treating scoliosis and incorporates postural analysis and corrections in all of her treatments. Lisa enjoys teaching anatomy, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness at schools, studios and corporate offices throughout Honolulu. In her free time, Lisa enjoys being in the water, in the mountains, and with her family.
