Licensed Physical Therapist
Vivian was born in Honolulu, and travelled the states as an Army brat. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 1984. After graduating, she worked in physical therapy settings in California including acute care, skilled nursing facilities, sports clinics, and outpatient clinics. Vivian eventually opened her own outpatient practice, Goo Physical Therapy, which was successful for 20 years. Recently, in 2022, she felt it was time to move back to Honolulu, to rejoin family and friends.
Vivian’s movement background includes dance, horseback riding, and martial arts, which inspire her to help others heal and regain the joy of movement. She also completed training in the Feldenkrais Method ®, and Pilates. Her focus is hands-on manual therapy combined with movement education.
During her free time, Vivian enjoys hiking, dog walking, and martial arts practice.
